Labor Day Events in Myrtle Beach

Labor Day weekend is the last big summer holiday we experience in Myrtle Beach and thousands flock to the beach each year to take part in this unofficial end of summer celebration. Are you going to be in Myrtle Beach for Labor Day this year? Check out some of the exciting events that you can enjoy during your stay:

Beach, Boogie, & BBQ Festival – Bring the family over to the scenic Market Common venue on either Friday or Saturday during Labor Day weekend to take part in the tastiest festival in Myrtle Beach! The annual Beach, Boogie, & BBQ Festival offers slow smoked and smothered offering from across the country; vendors come to compete for over $13,000 in cash, so you know the stakes are high. Come enjoy bbq samples, live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, plenty of activities for the kids, a bustling beer garden for the adults, and even a lively fireworks display on Saturday evening. The fun runs from 6pm – 9:30pm on Friday and from 12pm – 9:30pm on Saturday.

Summer Breeze Music Fest – Celebrate summertime in style at the Summer Breeze Music Fest at La Belle Amie Vineyard on Saturday, August 30th. This lively event will feature live entertainment, catered food with options for any palette, plenty of seasonal wine samples, and even complimentary tours of the scenic vineyard. Bring a few chairs or blankets and settle in for a good time with good friends and good wine. This festival kicks off at noon and wraps up around 5pm. Call (843) 399-9463 for more information.

Broadway at the Beach – Looking for a one-stop-shop for entertainment, attractions, and dining? If so, be sure to venture over to Broadway at the Beach during your Labor Day Adventures. In addition to their already bustling array of popular attractions, which include favorites like the Ripley’s Aquarium, WonderWorks, and the Broadway Grand Prix, Broadway has a full itinerary of free events happening all weekend long throughout this spacious complex. Stop by Celebrity Square on Friday evening to hear the Ashley Martin Band or on Saturday evening to hear the Austin Mowery Band. Other free events at Broadway include free face painting in the center court area, the Whacker Barrel traveling circus, the Bryan Dangerous juggling act, living statues strolling entertainment, and much more!
